ABOUT AVANT-ART
Founded in 2023 by lifelong friends and Houston natives Abigail Haley and Ally Ondarza, Avant-Art Gallery has quickly established itself as a competitive force in the contemporary art market. In spring 2025, the gallery expanded into a 4,000 sq. ft. space, providing an elevated platform for a roster of 28 exceptional artists. Their work is placed in prestigious private collections across Texas, the United States, and internationally.
The name Avant-Art, a nod to “avant-garde,” reflects the gallery’s focus on contemporary photography, abstract painting, and sculpture that combine strong visual impact with exceptional craftsmanship. Abigail and Ally curate with a clear eye for market appeal, offering a selection that resonates with established collectors, design professionals, and new buyers alike.
